Representing the third generation of a family deeply rooted in the Philippine cattle industry, Billy and Rafael Badilla are trusted names in cattle genetics, live cattle importation, and international livestock sourcing. Billy and Rafael Badilla serve as Bos Sires representatives in the Philippines, helping producers access functional cattle genetics suited for tropical environments and low input production systems.
Billy Badilla has spent decades helping shape the cattle industry across the Philippines through international cattle imports, government partnerships, and direct support of local cattle breeders. He currently serves as an international director for the American Brahman Breeders Association and plays an active role in national organizations such as the Federation of Cattle Raisers Association of the Philippines.
Rafael Badilla continues this legacy, bringing fresh leadership and energy to the family business. Their family first entered the cattle industry through Billy’s father, Romeo Badilla, who helped found Monterey Farms Corporation and led large scale cattle import programs into the Philippines during the 1990s.
Today, Billy and Rafael jointly import live cattle and frozen cattle genetics from the United States, Australia, and occasionally Europe. They work closely with private producers as well as national government programs to strengthen the Philippine cattle industry through improved genetics and breeding programs.
The Badillas also maintain their own cattle operations in partnership with local farms and provide consultation services to producers using the genetics they import. Their reputation for reliability is well established, having successfully supplied frozen semen genetics for government programs without ever losing a national tender.
