TQ Masters Blend has earned both the Forager and Bonsma Blueprint stamps for good reason. He thrives on grass alone, holding condition without handouts and transmitting that same efficiency to his offspring, proving that real-world functionality starts with forage. But it's more than just grass-based performance. His structure, balance, and masculine expression reflect the core of Bonsma’s teachings: internal efficiency, hormonal balance, and an ability to adapt and perform without crutches. Master Blend sires cattle that don’t just survive—they breed back, raise calves, and stay in the herd. He’s not a showpiece. He’s a blueprint for sustainable profit.
His photographs don’t do him justice. Master Blend was thick from every angle—front to back, top to bottom—but since his passing, we have limited images of him. What he left behind, however, speaks volumes. He’s been used to improve udder quality and docility across multiple herds, without sacrificing natural instincts or maternal drive. Over 100 daughters are recorded in four separate herds through the AAA. His sire was a 1990 model owned by Diamond D Angus, and his dam lived to be 18, raising a natural calf every year until age 16, when she was then flushed for embryos—ultimately producing 23 calves in total. Master Blend is a proven calving ease sire, with over 425 birth weights recorded in the American Angus Association database.
